Michigan Paving is giving back by fighting hunger right here in our local communities.
Recently, colleagues from the accounts receivable and sub-payable team donated their time to Food Gatherers, the largest anti-hunger program in Washtenaw County--and they made a huge impact! The team sorted 1,542 pounds of rescued food during their eight hours of service. The team members who participated were Christine Rochowiak, Kim Wauford, Stephanie Allen, and Jordan Edwards.
Food Gatherers' mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community. "We could not fulfill our mission without the support of groups like Michigan Paving and Materials giving their time and financial support to fight hunger where we live," the organization said.
Michigan Paving strives to build, develop and maintain strong ties to all of the communities we serve. To learn more about the ways in which we give back, please visit our community involvement page.
