After 27 years with Michigan Paving and Materials, we extend our congratulations to Vicky Masserant on her well-deserved retirement. Vicky was the office administrator at the MPM Monroe Oil Terminal and held various other roles in the industry throughout her career, including aggregate tester and truck loader. Vicky said that one of the things she has seen change the most over the course of her career is the current emphasis on safety, and how much safer the industry has become over the years. Vicky also noted that she will miss being on a daily schedule – something she is used to after working for so many years, and she’ll miss her daily interactions with her colleagues because she is a people person. Colleagues and family members celebrated her lengthy career during a luncheon at the oil terminal on Dec. 20, 2024. Thank you, Vicky, for your many years of service, and we wish you the best of luck in this exciting new chapter of life!
